Home Increase Leads Reduce Admin Work About Ask Astro

Before you Ask Astro.

How is this different from a chatbot?

A chatbot answers questions. An Astro system is configured to take the next step itself, inside your actual tools: qualifying a caller, booking a job, updating a record.

How do I know which outcome is right for my business?

That's what Ask Astro is for. Tell it what's slowing your business down, and it asks the right questions to work out whether the opportunity is Increase Leads, Reduce Admin, or both. You don't need to arrive already knowing which system you need.

What if it doesn't fit my business?

Every system is configured to the way your business already works, not sold as a fixed product. If there isn't a good fit, Astro will say so rather than force one.

What kinds of businesses does Astro work with?

UK small businesses, across any sector. What they tend to share isn't an industry. It's enquiries that wait too long for a response, or admin that's taking up time the business should be spending elsewhere.

Every enquiry, captured.

What does an Increase Leads system actually do?

Depends on where the gap is. It could be a Voice Receptionist answering the phone and booking the job directly, or a Chat Receptionist qualifying enquiries on WhatsApp or your website the moment they arrive. Both are configured to qualify, follow up and update your CRM, where configured, so nothing that comes in gets missed or lost. A third system, Outbound Sales Agent, is Phase 2 and not yet available: it will follow up a pipeline before an enquiry exists.

Does it work outside office hours?

Yes. Voice Receptionist and Chat Receptionist are both available day and night, where configured, so an enquiry that arrives at 9pm gets answered and qualified rather than waiting until someone's back at a desk.

Can it actually book appointments, or just take a message?

It's built to hold a real qualifying conversation and act on it directly, booking into your calendar and sending a confirmation, not just collect a message for someone to action later.

The work that shouldn't need you.

What does a Reduce Admin system actually do?

An Admin Assistant handles email triage and drafting, CRM updates, scheduling and reporting, inside the rules you set and with a person approving where you decide that matters. The same system extends to quotes, invoices and job creation. Document handling, reporting, internal workflows and notifications are configurations of the same assistant, not separate products, and cover the rest depending on where the admin is actually piling up.

Can it read and process documents like invoices?

Yes. The Admin Assistant extracts the relevant information from an incoming document and moves it straight into the right workflow, where configured, so nobody has to open it and re-type anything by hand.

Does it replace my existing software, or work with it?

It's configured to connect to the tools you already use, not to replace them. Astro works inside your existing systems rather than asking you to move to a new one.

From conversation to system.

What actually happens when I Ask Astro?

You tell it what's slowing your business down. It asks the right questions to map whether the opportunity is Increase Leads, Reduce Admin, or both. There's no commitment at this stage.

Do I need any technical knowledge?

No. Astro handles the design, build, configuration, testing and deployment. You use the result. Astro runs the automation infrastructure; your phone number, CRM, calendar and mailbox stay yours.

What do you need from me during the build?

Mainly approval: reviewing the system as it's configured to your business and signing it off before it goes live. Astro handles everything else.

Scoped, not packaged.

What does it cost?

There's no fixed price. Every system is scoped individually, based on your business, what's being automated, the integrations involved, the implementation work, and what it takes to run afterward. You get a tailored proposal, not a starting price.

How is the price actually worked out?

Four steps: tell Astro what you want to improve, Astro understands the opportunity, defines the system, and you receive a tailored proposal. Nothing is estimated before that process runs.

What's the difference between Implementation and Ongoing cost?

Implementation covers designing, building, configuring, testing and deploying the system. Ongoing covers what follows: monitoring, maintaining, refining and improving it as the business changes. Both are part of every system, because Astro builds, maintains and improves what it implements. A proposal sets them out separately because they're different kinds of work.

What happens after.

How is this different from buying automation software myself?

Tools like Zapier or Make are platforms. You'd still have to design the logic, connect the integrations, test the workflows, and maintain them yourself. Astro delivers the result, not a platform to build it on.

What happens after the system is live?

Astro stays involved, watching how the system performs and refining it as your business changes.

Ask Astro, not a form.

Tell it what's slowing your business down. It'll ask the right questions and identify whether the opportunity is Increase Leads or Reduce Admin.
